For the 20 minute introduction class do I need to bring anything?

All you will need for the 20 minute introduction class is a bottle of water and to wear sports shorts and a t-shirt.

Do I have to do the introduction class?

It is a much better way for your child to become comfortable and be less intimidated and daunted by starting a new sport. It also helps us to assess if it will be beneficial for your child to start training with us. We are not inclined to jump children straight into a class.

Do I have to have any experience in Martial Arts?

Absolutely not. We are here to teach you from the beggining and help you develope both the skill and love for the sport.

Do I need any special equipment?

For the introduction classes your child will not require equipment. When you sign up to do the 3 "starter" classes you will recieve a pair of gloves and that will be all that is required until further into training. As your child progresses we will inform you of anything that may be required.

What is the 3 class "starter" pack all about?"

The 3 classes are to see if you, your child and the club are a suitable fit, without locking in to any commitments. We understand that it's not for everyone, but hope that your child loves it as much as I do. The "starter" pack includes a pair of gloves, so that he or she can really get a feel for Muay Thai.

Are there adult classes available at Affinity Dojos?

Adult classes are coming to Affininty Dojo's in 2021. We will have times and dates set early March.

Can I bring my child down to watch a class?

Absolutely. Please come down and watch and see if Muay Thai is something your child would like to learn. 
 
I do ask you to send me an enquiry before hand, just so I know you will be there and can come over and say hello to both yourself and your child.

Is Muay Thai Kickboxing for both boys and girls?

Absolutely!
 
Muay Thai as a sport now strongly encourages girls to train and learn the tradition skills. I would love to see equal numbers in the classes as much as possible,
